Then she scored an additional six perfect 10s, making her the most youthful Olympic all-around gold medalist, at just 14. In addition to helping Nadia Comaneci draw attention from all directions and help Romania get its place in the world map. A sports legend came into spotlight by achieving an unachievable number of points, thereby creating a legend and popularizing gymnastics as a game across all over the world. The sport also altered the perception of women gymnasts.
