Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's an American singer and actress. The parents of Kristen Bell are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. She was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her heritage includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a talented performer from a young age. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell's mom signed her up with an agency just before her 13th birthday. She then appeared in television advertisements and newspaper ads. In addition, she is beginning individual acting classes. Bell had a small uncredited performance as a character Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was part of the drama and music club at Shrine Catholic High School. She was a part of Dorothy in the production for high school in The Wizard of Oz. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre following her the completion of her studies. Bell, who graduated in 2001, resigned her college studies in order to take on her role as Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credits in Pootie Tang in 2001. The scene however, was trimmed and now Bell's only role is the end credits. Bell was seen with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
