Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's food is a way to enter her mind. Her curiosity grew as she moved from her home in the Long Island suburbs to explore the vast cultural diversity in Los Angeles. Her belief of the fact that cavatelli and carnitas could coexist in harmony on a single menu portrays a style that is constantly evolving. What remains is her singular vision of the future while still wishing to reminisce about the previous. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant that was founded by Lofaso in 2013. It was founded by the chef as a result of her heritage as an Italian-American. Lofaso's interpretation of traditional Italian is hailed by critics as being one of the best eateries for Italian cuisine located in Los Angeles. The restaurant serves delicious and consistent meals at Scopa, a neighborhood favorite. Customers describe it as authentic and satiating. Lofaso worked under culinary greats to acquire their specialized techniques. She was also not afraid to take bold decisions in order to honor her gut instincts. She soon rose to the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago before moving on to work closely with celebrities in various Los Angeles kitchens. In 2011, Lofaso worked with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to debut Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Lofaso was able to settle at Black Market. Lofaso had the chance to enjoy the freedom of expression she had longed for. Black Market does not have a single direction, which is the reason why it was created. A course might begin with potato chips dill and shishito peppers, followed by a lobster roll Korean wings and a variety of meatballs. Antonia is the anchor for this bold array of flavours. Lofaso evaluated her career success based on her ability to both understand and be real to her viewers. She's been on of numerous television shows including Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars as well as Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents are still being showcased as a judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup. Lofaso teamed up with Penguin in 2012 to release The Busy Mum's Cookbook 100 recipes for Delicious Home-cooked Meals. The book contains her personal story of her struggles going to the French Culinary Institute and raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso states that the reason to her achievement is derived from her kitchen. This is how she stays on top on current events. She is transforming the style by redefining chef's attire for style and functionality, through her brand Chefletics. What matters to Lofaso is adhering to the vision you have set. With this goal, she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering, which is a more personalised approach to providing clients with a distinctly personal experience.
