Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress. Born on July 7, 1982. Cornish is known best for her films roles, including Heidi in Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) as well as for her collaboration with filmmaker Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) and Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). In the former film Cornish received her very first Screen Actors Guild Award as an actor in the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. The father of her was Jack Gilpin star of such movies as Adventureland (2009) and her mother was Ann McDonough of The Mothman Prophecies (2002) as well as other films. Betty Gilpin's parents remained supportive and encouraged her to become an actress. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin learned to be an actor. Gilpin began her acting career off-Broadway as she auditioned for film and TV roles. Following a brief appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent The actress landed minor part for the films Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin landed mostly TV guest roles over the next few years until her biggest break in 2013 when she was cast as a regular character on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin's character, Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, appeared in 34 episodes of Nurse Jackie before the show was cancelled on June 15th, the 15th of June, 2015. Gilpin was also a part of the crime thriller True Story (2015).
