Anya Volz is a New York City-based comic originally from Vermont. The comedian has earned the acclaim of males across America because of her humor, that they call funny but not preachy. She's written for Riotfest's The Hard Times, MacaulayCulkin Bunny Ears and also a creator of content. She has been featured in BuzzFeed as well as Vulture along with a variety of national comedy festivals including New York Comedy Festival and the Women in Comedy Festival. She is co-hosting Best Mistakes, a podcast on fucking it up alongside fellow Brooklyn comedian Nika Lomazzo. She produced and hosted the pre-covid Our Time of the Week in The Stand Comedy Club main space as well as their monthly show Thirst Trap with Anya Volz which has taken place in legendary venues such as Union Hall Caveat and House of YES and has been written up in The New York Times and Time Out New York. Her short film Sex Neutral premieres soon. Anya Devi Volz, a Vermont-born comedian and actor who is in the process of making. Taylor-Joy resigned from school at the age of 16 to pursue acting careers. Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish as well as English roots. Her mother is of Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. They was throughout Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and when they relocated to Victoria district of London. According to Taylor-Joy, the removal was extremely difficult for her and she decided to not learn English to the hope of returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she moved from Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she was a dancer and also performed in plays. She dropped out of high school at 16 to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy has always known her goal was to become an actor. She achieved this when Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management provided Taylor-Joy with a modeling job.
