Anita Barone

Barone played in the fourth season Seinfeld episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham a chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was one of the cast members of Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's former wife in her first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her part after Barone quit the show to focus on working full-time. Barone was a guest in The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the first season (from 1995-1996) Then she appeared in The War at Home from 2005 and 2007. In 2000 Barone played a part in the show Daddio. Barone's television credits also comprise Desperate women Curb Your Enthuasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. The film she acted in, One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. In 2010 three years following the time that The War at Home ended its run Barone was cast in a regular role on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as the character of Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones, the former husband of Barone's character on two of the episodes.
